I have being receiving various photos and messages today from Alison as she makes here way up to Casino on the train with the kids to visit my Mum for a few days. She would normally drive but has not being feeling the best this past week. So far it looks like it was a good choice as they appear to be having a blast! Food, craft and iPad’s!
Getting excited for Stockton
A fantastic afternoon spent investigating what will soon be our new stomping ground.

Church Camp & Leviticus
Church Camp is exhausting (Lily passed out as you can see by the stray arm hanging out), but so much fun. Kids are having a great time running around Tahlee with their friends. Us Adults are enjoying fantastic teaching on the book of Leviticus. Yes, I thought it was a strange choice too. However, Geoff Harper from SMBC has brought this text to life. His passion for it and brilliant application, will certainly effect my future preaching of this Scripture. Actually to be honest, I probably would have avoided ever preaching on it, if it wasn’t for this weekend!
Synod
A few moments of distraction with my Apple Pencil from last weekends Synod.
Leaving ANeW & New Lambton Anglican
It was announced today that my family and I will be moving on from the ministry at ANeW and NLA. The past two and a half years under the leadership of Arthur Copeman have been just wonderful. We have made many, many life time friends and are extremely sad to be leaving. However, the good news is, we will only be 20 minutes away in the sunny parish of Stockton!
On one hand we are sad and grieving, but on the other hand we are excited (and scared) to become a part of a new Christian family. Please join us in praying that we will add value to the ministry there, that the ministry will grow and that God would lead us in service and support of the parish and the people of Stockton.
